Pet Peeves/ Things you dislike

I'll start...

- wet doorknobs
- the subway system in toronto
- lazy TA's
- people that wear tshirts advertising cities...in the SAME city (ie wearing a CN TOWER tshirt in Toronto)
- rude customers **Big one**

ummm ill keep editing this as i remember more lol

• People that dont wash their hands after using the washroom ... and then I need to open the door somehow to get out
  
• Boring Profs
  
• People that say they failed a test and then end up with the highest mark in the class
  

I've got a lot more, but they'll eventually come

• Rude sales people. Especially if you're there to buy something.
  
• People who are walking in front of you and randomly stop every couple of minutes.
  
• Busses ALWAYS being late.
  
• People wearing band shirts when they don't even know the band.
  

That's all that I can remember now.

-radio stations playing the same "hit" songs every few minutes
-people rushing into the lecture hall for their next class when the lecture before theirs clearly hasn't ended
-telemarketers/telephone survey people
-door to door missionaries (i constantly have them coming to my house )

**ppl who don't wash their hands after using the facilities... EVEN after they KNOW you know that they came out of the pee-house!

I can't think of anything else... which is odd, cuz I'm always complaining

- dried up ketchup on the top of the lid
- dirty toothpaste tube
- SLOW drivers
- drivers that drive slow in the fast lane
- people that make noise while eatting (that annoying munch/slurp sound)
- fans jumping on team/player bandwagons

that bathroom thing is really annoying.

i use paper to open the door..and when where there isn't paper around (the heaters) I use my foot.

No way i touching the door with other people's germs

I GOT TONS! I am a hard person to please apparently eh?

Let's start shall we? This list could go on for days.
Driving-wise


- SLOW DRIVERS in the FAST LANE!!!!
- People who never let you merge onto the bridge
- People who expect to just be let in when the road ends, regardless of your position
- Old drivers
- Inconsiderate bus drivers who think they own the road
- Stupid kids who keep making life difficult for us GOOD young drivers
- people who CAN't PARK!!
- if you can't drive in weather other then sunny, don't be on the road and ruin my day. You live in Vancouver, don't act surprised


Day-to-day
- Inder (true story)
- Open cabinets and drawers
- crumbs left on counters, as well as juice and other food
- people who eat loud
- leaving empty boxes, bottles in the fridge/cupboards!
- a full garbage can that people keep adding onto
- it should be illegal to speak a different language at school (*ahem*)
- being treated more easy at school because you are an international student
- when my MOM cleans my room. It's not being "nice", it causes more frustration because I can't find my clothes!
- when it rains and my clothes have that "moist" feeling
- people who keep coughing during exams or "sniffling"...have some consideration!
- when people are late for class and then look at your notes "secretly"...or late for class and talk
- people who pack up 1 minute before class ends! !!! CLASS ISN"T OVER!!!!
- people who don't appreciate their blessings
- people who are in UNI and don't value the importance of it. See UNI as party-zone. Some of us TRIED our butts off to get here you know? And they let morons like you take my deserving-spot in the program??!!
- bandwagoners, esp those who tell me I AIN"T A FAN and think they are the greatest fan ever. Go away!

...that's what I can think of right now for this

culturally
- people who talk at the Gurdwara
- double standards gender-wise ( >:(my family does this)
- bringing dipper mentality from India and thinking it can be done here...aka current media case regarding missing person (I can go into tons of detail, ask Harman! I think I ruined his brain)
- just because your older, doesn't mean your right!!
- bargaining everything!
- trying to be royality but living like animals
- getting the "most expensive stuff" at the cheapest costs, and then lying about it
- this stupid obsession with IMAGE



so this is my list as of right now. As I said, I am a hard person to please. It's something I'm going to have to learn to just let go of, but its so hard! I find so many things wrong with how society runs. i'm kind of sad aren't I?

And dont' feel bad for him. He signed up for it

hahaha i just wait for someone to open the door...but now they started making washrooms that u dont even need doors to go into, its like 5-6 walls kind of like a maze but no complaints here, its way easier to walk thru those than to wait around for someone to open the door

I guess I'll start off with my most hated one:

- astrology/horoscopes/astrologers

why?

Well first of all astrology tires to link itself to my favourite of all sciences...astronomy. My aunt once asked me what I study, I said astronomy, she then like can you read my hand...
Also I once went to astrologer with my mom, well he asked me some stupid questions and told me my future....sure it was great and all but I really didn't believe what he was saying. I then asked him the validity of astrology, he gave me some BS response that I thought was total crap. Main reason why I hate astrology is because its based upon unprovable unreliable and just wrong facts. The stupid constellations of the zodiac existed 3000 years ago, so now if your born during a certain month chances are that the sun wasn't even in the constellation that your sign corresponds to. Regardless I view astrology as somewhat of a poisonous cancer on human intellect and rational thought.

onto the topic....

- the sinks at the UBC Physics building

well being a physics student all my classes and my study locations are confined to a single building. It turns out that the washroom sinks are such that either you burn your hands or freeze them because they got two faucets, also you gotta use your other hand keep the water running, so you have to wash your hands one at a time....how frustrating!!

- People that speak their native language when there are others around.

I really hate it when I hear my name in the mix of a bunch of noise.

- People that interrupt others

- People with stinky food

- People that don't wash their hands after washroom

I've seen my profs not washing their hands after coming out of washroom....yuck
