i don't get the hype over the OC... is it something you just get after watching the show? would someone still be able to get the story line even if they haven't seen the previous seasons? i dono, i've always been reluctant to watch it cuz i don't think i'll really be into a night-time soap opera... And another thing, are they supposed to be in high skool?  |

wow i havent been here for like 3 days and already this topic has 2 pages!
Well I for one can't wait for the OC to come back on, but at the same time, if it is going to be as horrible as it was last year, I'd rather wait until they come up with a better storyline. I heard this is the last season of OC...hopefully, if they do really really well, then they may be renewed in the future. With Marissa gone, its totally time for Summer and Kaitlin (Marissa's little sister) to take the stage. I really hope characters as annoying as Oliver (first season) will not come back =\!
Sharon:
You can try watching it now but I don't really know how well you will understand the overall storyline. They have been in highschool for the past 3 years, this year (season 4) they are now first year students at their colleges/unis

Finally someone who acutally wants to discuss the show lol i really hope this isn't the last season:( i love the OC but yeah kaitlin is cool she wasnt in the show much last season, but brought way more drama than Marissa. Personally, I think Summer should've had the spotlight, but this season will be a change:D lol and seth's soo cute...you can't get sick of his sarcastic humor lol yeah Sharon i think you could give it a try like i didnt really get into watching the OC until the second season, but after I got soo addicted to it lol
