has Ellen lost her touch?

OK, so i LOVE Ellen DeGeneres! I use to religiously watch her show everyday... but now, even though I go to skool and don't really get time to watch the show, I find even if I DO have time... I'm not as interested. If I don't catch the first few minutes (the monologue.. and oh the dancing moves she puts on! )), I won't bother to watch the rest.

Is it because her guests just suck now, or is Ellen just not kool anymore?

your just too busy to watch now. She's still funny, but I barely get time to watch TV myself. I prefer to sleep. My opportunity cost of watching Ellen is less than that of sleeping, so logically my mind will defer to watching such programs when I know there is a bed waiting for me.

Hey.. that one was so funny. But have you seen the episode about the old lady who got a ticket because she took to long to cross the street and it caused traffic and Ellen wanted to see if it was possible to cross the street before the little red hand pops up so she got this guy to try it and every time the red hand popped up he would run back but he never ever got to the other side. it was Hilarious!

That was one of my fave episodes. Personally, I used to watch her show everytime I had the chance. Especiaily the monologues in the beginning. But this season I just don't care. It'll be on, but I'll just watch something else like "The hour" or repeats of "Gilmore Girls".

yeah, anyone with a name like Strombolisandwich, or whatever it is...Should be on some funky show. Not the news. And he has so many piercings, society won't take him seriously. Unfortunatly, we're conditioned to shun things like this.

But I like strombogobil on MUCH MUSIC more as well.

He doesn't have that many piercings, and what does that have to do with is ability to perform on stage/tv. That guy brings something to the show, if you watch it. On much music he was told to act like a bimbo and interview rich spoiled celebs (spears, usher, simpson).

Can anyone make news cool for the average person? I doubt it, but he giving it a go!

George Strombolopolous .. i think.. (i only knw that cuz there was a counsellor at my school whose name was Ms. Thomopolous lol...) but yes... Ellen DeGeneres is WAY COOL MAN! lol... she hasn't lost her touch... i think u jus lost touch with the show... oh ellen... yeah and that episode bhavan is talkin bout hahah lol.. i watched it it was hilarious... did u knw shes a lesbian y'all... i'm sure u do .. but yah

yea.. about that... I was looking at some ads of his on the skytrain and he doesn't even have piercings anymore! I wonder what they did to him at CBC... I checked very carefully, he didn't even have the eyebrow one!

I think society does take him seriously.
Plus, the show isn't supposed to be a newscast. It's more of George's (and his guest's?) take on the day's news. If someone wants a traditional take on the news they should watch CTV or CBC news.

Okay, so does anyone know what happened with Tony's "acting career" ? Tony was her DJ... he was wikedd and had a crazy accent. ;D

And who's the new DJ? Everytime I see the show, I never see the dude/duddette's face... anyone catch the name?

...I miss Tony. As much as I want him to "follow his dreams" and become an actor and blah blah blah... he's still Ellen's awesome DJ to me
