There didnt seem to be an entertainment thread on music, so i thought id start one. What kinds of music and what specific artists/albums are you listening too? anything you particularly like or dislike? Are there some genres you like more than others?

My favourite artist of all time is the King of Pop, the great MICHAEL JACKSON. I can listen to him all the time, anytime. I'm also a huge fan of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Coldplay. I'm quite open-minded in terms of music... I can listen to anything from Tracy Chapman to Lenny Kravitz to Missy Elliot But if we're talkin' all-time... It's got to be the Backstreet Boys babyyy

But if we're talkin' all-time... It's got to be the Backstreet Boys babyyy lol I used to love the BSB, especially AJ. ;D I listen to just about anything. Lately, I've been listening to the new Justin Timberlake and The Killers' cds. Both are ok. I'm not sure if any of you like The Killers, but Brandon said his cd is one of the best in the last 20 years. Honestly, it's not that great, but there are some good tracks. I'm not much of a fan of the hardcore rock and rap either. I do though like listening to stuff like the Red hot chili peppers, Green day, Panic! at the disco, Missy Elliott, Ciara, etc. Oh and who could forget Punjabi and Hindi music. I like listening to remixes. Stuff by Rishi Rich is usually great. If anyone knows of some good artists let me know. I'm always looking to hear some new stuff.

if i am going to pick one artist who i have to listen to for the rest of my life its gots to be 2pac. That guy gave you everything....hard, soft, club jams, songs about the movement, poetry. He said things that made you stop and think. I know I aint from the streets or a gangsta, but he made people relate to his songs.

Yeah i think ''hot fuss" was a better album than there new one although new one isnt that bad.. JT album is very good, i gotta say i like the song with T.I. "my love" Panic! at the disco's video for that song is really wierd.. although the song is catchy... I agree with alot of your stuff except Rishi Rich, I dont like his stuff.. if you wanna hear great remixing, and especially Hindi Remixing you gotta listen to "Bollywood Flashback I" from 1994.. i could send it to you.. thats prolly the best remix album i've ever heard.. Best Hindi Soundtrack ever = Taal.. simply unbelievable, especially on a sick sound system and I know you dont like hardcore rap but nothing hits the spot like a good rap song.. also, biggie vs. 2pac? 2pac is the more popular and more respected (arguably) but there is no way on earth anyone can say that on a technical level (delivery, flow, etc.) he is better than Biggy.. I think Biggy was simply put the greatest rapper of all time,, although Rakim and others including 2pac are close..
