Sooo having funny phrases is pretty much synonomous with the term Punjabi Parents (or so I choose to think ) What are some funny sayings your parents say? How do you use that phrase in context (Ie please provide a sentence of how to use that).

Oh man, I am gonna be pro with this topic! Let's start with my mom: -when asked why she puts certain ingredients in foods and when she sneaks bites of your meal she says "It's just for the taste" (in her accent) -"Kusman Nu Kao" -"Mera Loh Peeleya" - Her way to say she doesn't like certain things "I hate those things".... What are the "things" ?? ...and that's what i can remember for now. Now my dad, he has this thing about being "cool" and stuff - Likes to refer to my bros as "what a gay" - says "Jaysus Chrieest" to everything - and then...he learns new words from his daily horoscope...and uses them SOOOO out of context. - always sings "Kabhi kabhi mere dil mein".........then what dad? ?? never finishes it off does this stuff even count? Maybe I did this wrong. -Pally

My mom likes to say "roti rati" "teek tak" "kapary koopary" (clothes) "jaraba jarooba" (sox)
I don't know why she says that but everytime she says it like that.
