Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh,
My name is Satnam Grewal and I'm studying Buiness in my 3rd/4th year. I have been very involved in the SFU SSA for almost 4 years now and have gained a great deal through my experiences.
The SSA presents many opportunities and as many past members have said, the reward one receives from the SSA is much greater than the amount of work they put in. This is because the SSA offers a place for the Sikh youth to learn and openly discuss about our religion, something that is not readily available in our community. As well, the social network that one builds is irreplaceable, as majority of the Sikh youth I have met, are thru helping out with SSA events. I hope we can all have a great year, learn from one another and perhaps have a few more games nights along the way.
As well, I want to thank Inder Nagra for contributing his time and effort to making an amazing website with a forum that is very useful for discussions.

Wow, That is wicked. It would be awesome if people from other SSA's in the country and world would hear about this place and come share their thoughts... from SFU SSA...welcome sBains Thanks for the welcome, Inder. yeah it would be great to communicate with people from other SSA's, and exchange ideas and stuff on what to do at our own respective clubs.

Hey guys!
My names Suneet Randhawa. I'm in my 4th year as a bio major and econ minor (yea..weird combo but I won't get into it!) I've been part of SSA on and off for about 2 years now. Haven't made it to a meeting as of yet this semester (I know! I know! Horrible isn't it? For some reason whoever picks these meeting times doesn't do a really good job! *cough!*)

Hello,
My name is Jatinder Singh Mann. I'm a 4th/5th year Computer Engineering student. I haven't been at SFU for a year now, as I have been working on various coop terms across the country. I used to be SSA President back in the day, but my dictatorship days are over; apperently things are more democratic now. All jokes aside, I enjoy working with the SSA and am very pleased to see it grow and become a popular club on the SFU campus. It has always been a great source of information about our religion for our student body. Good work guys!

Hello Hello
I was just reading everyone’s posts and realized maybe I should make one of my own..
My name is Aman Bains, and I am currently a first year here at SFU. I am enrolled in the Faculty of Science, but am in the process of transferring over to Arts. It is my first year with the SSA, and although I have not been a part of it for very long, I can tell I am going to enjoy it (touch blue - yes I’m superstitious!)
Other then that, this forum is pretty wicked, and although computers frighten me, I shall try my best and post as frequently as possible.
See you around,
Aman ;D

Oops, I forgot to introduce myself
Hello all,
my name is Birinder Pal Singh Narang, I'm a Cell/Molecular Bio Student with about a year left...don't ask what year I'm in...(I was engineering before I decided I hated it), I came to SFU last year from Capilano. I tried to be active in the SSA last year, but did not do as much as I would have hoped to, so I hope to take a more active role this year. I'm part of the SSA to learn more about Sikhi, to get to know the fellow SSAers more and most importantly because I love Chetan (and his voice); I am looking forward to having a great year with all of you. Oh! I also play dhol um everywhere...
"Bear"
PS: don't ask where Bear came from...it just did...

Hey!
I'm Bharminder Gill and I'm in my first year studying biology at SFU...although I did almost go to UBC. Coming to SFU was sort of a last minute decision but one that I don’t regret...anyways, I'm new to the SSA as well so I look forward to learning more about Sikhi and meeting the other members.

Hi everyone, My name is Amarjeet Chane, and I'm a second year Econ and Business major. I've been a member of the SSA since Fall 2005, but it's only recently that I've gotten more involved. Basically, I want to learn as much about being a Sikh as I can. BTW this is a great forum. Amarjeet ;D
