yea... so hockey is still being played.
Canucks managed a win yesterday night against the Avs.
Good game. Score 2-1
Stellar performances by Luongo (30 saves); Ohlund; Pyatt; Ikea Line (as usual
); Kesler; and those new little kids made quite the impression... Rypien stood out the most though, esp with the fight and all (his dad's a boxer!)
Game should have ended 3-1 for the Canucks but the peeps in Toronto must have some beef with us... and perhaps cotton balls in front of their eyes because CLEARLY Naslund's goal was NOT a "kicking motion" but a SKATING motion.
Even if it looked like he was 'kicking' ... doesn't matter because he wasn't even looking at the puck! His head was turned because he was skating AWAY from the net (hence the skating motion). Some ppl will never learn. 
But all was not lost. Both our goals came from powerplays (which is amazing since we're like almost last in PP goals) and the PK (penalty kill) was excellent.
And that is all.
