I recently saw the Leafs show their true abilities. Let's all sit around for a story shall we??

I left my home when the Leafs were up 3-1 against Montreal. I arrived at the restaurant a little while later and noticed that the score was now 4-2 in the 3rd period. I then ordered my meal and was enjoying my Teriyaki Rice Bowl, when I looked at the score near the end of the 3rd period and it was now 4-4. Tied right near the end of the period. I thought, "Wow! Now that's a horrible way to give up a great lead. Why do people think this team is so good??" and so I went on to eat my meal. I watched overtime and no one scored. I actually thought Montreal would take this game because they played so much better then Toronto. However, we entered the shootouts.

I was thoroughly amazed (and not in the good way). The first shots went in but SUNDIN choked. Too much ego, not enough action. But anyways, I watched one Leaf after another tried to try to beat Aebischer. And they finally did it after 7 players, with a weak shot by some dude (that I have never heard of and I don't even remember his name now). I also rolled my eyes at Aubin and his "thingyy" plays. I'm sorry but if you let in 3 goals in one period and give up a lead, then you should not think you are the king of the Ice during shootouts. No one needs to see that.

Although you guys did get the win, and I went home with my leftover dinner, it was NOT a great game and I seriously hope that this is not how the Leafs actually play. I was pretty much disappointed.

All in all, my dinner tasted great and I just wanted you all to know that

hahah i dont even watch hockey games i never get time to, by the time i do reach home, theyre all done...haha and thank you for that story.
