I just want to say HEY! to all my fellow Spurs fans ;D.
I'm definately not a Lakers fan, never have been. So I don't think we will meet eye to eye in this area of our lives. Purple and Yellow just don't go man. It hurts my eyes.

Im officially starting the I hate Kobe posts.. his selfishness cost him atleast 2-3 more titles with shaq, he doesnt want to pass the ball, the guy takes a ridiculous amount of shots.
And lets not forget his awesome character, the guy is arragont as they come, he's admitted to cheating on his wife, he is a horrble role model and I doubt he'll ever win a title again. One thing I will say is that he is a talented player, ill give him that much but his attitude just makes me want to hate the guy.
Spurs are good, even thought they play an overly boring style of play, I love Timmy D even if he uses the backboard too much and Ginobli is fearless.
I'm a Steve Nash and Shaq fan so lets go Suns/Heat..

Sorry Harman, but did you jump on the Nash bandwagon when he won MVP? Or when you realized he was Canadian, and felt an obligation to cheer for him? No offense, I'm proud of Canadian talent as much as the next guy, but Suns don't have anyone other than Nash to win. He's the entire team! I won't start on Shaq. "Uh, so I put the ball in the basket? ok, I'll stand right here, you pass it to me"

I have always been a Steve Nash fan, ever since he was on the Suns back in the day, Mavs were my favourite team for awhile, but Im a Suns fan now. The team is exciting to watch and well ... Nash owns.

Kobe Bryant is a guy who keeps trying to be like Michael Jordan but he's not a natural leader and chokes in crunch time - contrary to public opinion, Kobe has the worst FG% in the last 2 minutes of the game, even though all of the commentators keep saying he's great in the clutch. Also, he's got some charisma but he can't lead a team like Michael and he can't make players around him better. So if it wasn't for his selfish and arrogant attitude, I'd like kobe. But I don't see the lakers going to the finals this year, even with Phil Jackson as their coach.
Kobe does have a lot of skill. I'd say he's the 2nd best player in the league right now; LBJ being #1 of course. That's why, I thikn LBJ takes his team to the finals this year only to lose to either the Suns or the Rockets.
Boy, are the Spurs boring to watch...and has anyone else noticed Tim Duncan not being his usual humble self?
Go T-MAC and LEBRON

who the heck thinks spurs are boring to watch? They play some to any style you want. 2005 they beat denver nuggets with fast ball and high scoring games, while they kept nuggets to below 90. Then next round seattle ground and pound, beat them in that style as well. Next up, suns. They beat them with SUN BALL which is run, run, run. Spurs were putting down 110 points on suns. Up next, pistons. A tight series, low scoring, slow pace, defense first style series. That series is ranked as one of the best 7 game series.
Last year, even though they lost to Mavs, it was the best 7 games series in the past 10 years. 6 games were decided by 2 points or less.
Duncan = greatest power forward of all-time

That guy has some of the best game in the world. He needs a player like Garnett or Duncan to calm him down in situations. kobe is gunning for mvp and this might be his year. Duncan does have two healthy ankles this year tho...

nah pally... actually i knew about him in santa-clara.. so dont worry about that.. i forgot more about sports than the average person knows -- i was tellin everyone he's the best pg in the game when he was with dallas early and people kept saying Jason-cant-hit-a-shot-for-his-life-Kidd was the best.. And I agree the Suns dont have a great chance but id rather see them win with uptempo, entertaining basketball then other teams. As for Shaq, he is simply put the most dominant center of our generation, u cant deny that...

As for Shaq, he is simply put the most dominant center of our generation, u cant deny that... For someone who stands in the key and waits for someone to pass him the ball, oh yeah he's dominant all right. If you stand in the key, and place the ball into the net when your 7+ feet tall, of course your going to get points. If I played Shaq's game, I could be MVP..anyone could. Being the best center means you have skills, strategy and movement (that's key). I'm sorry but he's not the best. I'd say, Robinson was a great center of our time, and not just because he was on the Spurs, but because he was the heart of his team and really understood the sport. He had clutch points and just had amazing skill. I'm glad he got one last championship before he left. He deserved it man. Took a team as small as the Spurs and blew them up prior to Duncan, Ginobili, Parker and all them.

shaq's an old man, he has obviously declined over the years..just look at him in the playoffs, i think he had one good game against the pistons? D-wade runs the show in Miami, him or LBJ will be MVP this year..sorry Kobe

Dominant and Dominate are two different words.
Dominant = any 7 foot monster in the key is going to make a presence, regardless of if he just stands there
Dominate = skills, power, strategy..did I say skill?
I rest my case
