I just don't get the sport.

A bunch of guys wearing tight pants who put their hands under eachothers' crotch. How nice.

Someone explain to me the rules of this game. Starting with how many downs we have in the CFL... is it 3 or 4? Wait, you better start with what the heck a down is!

No, Football does not suck.

Basic rules: ... bah, it'll take me too long to explain. This is a game that you need to watch in person (go to a BC Lions game) or watch on TV.

Sharon, don't hate on football!!

it's the 2nd best sport in the world (basketball being the first) but it is the best to watch! I used to hate it because I didn't understand it, but it's actually a really fun sport to watch if you understand the game...I'm a football junkie and I just refresh ESPN.com for news like 30x a day so for me I obviously have a big passion for it. I learned about football from playing video games lol but at the next ubc event, I'll definetly try and explain the game to you as simply as I can.

:(puulllleeez... the Canucks do not suck. And I certainly do not need to defend that. And don't you worry, I'll call you up when the bandwagon comes to Surrey... i know you'll want to jump on soon enough.

ps- i'm not hating on football... i'm just not a great fan of it. And Gurinder, i did watch a couple of games live... still kinda pointless to me. I do, however, like when they run all the way to a touchdown. That i admit, is somewhat exciting.

I don't get how you guys can possibly stay focused during a live game... I mean for one, you have hoochies (also referred as cheerleaders) jumping up and down at the bottom.

See, hockey is sophisticated like that, we don't need distractions, such as half-naked women, to keep us entertained during the game. Hockey is always interesting, no hoochies needed.

nothing beats a duel between two teams battling it out in the snow, only football can provide that, the reason for the hoochies is cuz theres way more stoppages...and ofcourse football is more of a man's sport, but football breaks are more entertaining than breaks during a hockey game.

Football has way more strategy in it, no sport can compare to it...its the closest thing to a chess match but way better cuz people get hit and the showboating...I mean comon how can you not be entertained by Chad Johnson's or TO's touchdown gimmicks
